Welcome to the AMSED Research Group

At the forefront of interdisciplinary innovation, the AMSED Research Group is dedicated to advancing next-generation technologies through cutting-edge research in photocatalysis, artificial synaptic devices, and piezoelectric nanogenerators. Our team explores the convergence of materials science, nanotechnology, and device engineering to address pressing global challenges in energy, environment, and intelligent electronics.

Our work in photocatalytic applications focuses on designing and synthesizing novel materials to harness solar energy for environmental remediation and sustainable chemical transformations. By optimizing light absorption and charge separation mechanisms, we aim to develop efficient and eco-friendly catalytic systems.

In the field of artificial synaptic devices, we investigate neuromorphic electronics that emulate the adaptive and low-power nature of biological synapses. Our goal is to lay the foundation for brain-inspired computing systems capable of real-time learning and energy-efficient information processing.

We also explore piezoelectric nanogenerators for energy harvesting, targeting self-powered devices and wearable technologies. By converting mechanical energy from ambient sources into electrical energy, our research supports the development of autonomous, miniaturized systems for the Internet of Things (IoT) and biomedical applications.

Driven by curiosity and a commitment to impactful science, our group fosters collaboration across disciplines and strives to train the next generation of researchers and innovators.
